Welcome to the internal documentation site for Ampowr Cosmos!
About the project¶
Ampowr Cosmos expands upon the open-source project OpenEMS and uses InfluxDB as it's primary storage medium. The application is currently deployed as a Docker-Compose project on edge devices running an x86 Ubuntu Server operating system that has been customized using Cloud-Init. The network is secured via a WireGuard VPN, and monitoring is handled using Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Current installations feature a Dell Optiplex 3000TC and a Teltonika RUT955. A list of other potentially suitable devices for deploying Ampowr Cosmos may be found Here. Once deployed to the field, devices are managed primarily via Ansible either remotely or locally by a technician. Remote Desktop access if also available via a x11vnc server.
